Random Question for a chance to win an autographed copy of To Win His Wayward Wife

In all seriousness this time, I do know this is one of my most loved books and if there are more a total of more than 50 entries, I will  select two winners for this one.

Now for the question:

If various images of your romantic past were to be put on screen for all to see, what song would you choose to play in the background?

  1. Love of a Lifetime preformed by Firehouse

I guess the time was right for us to say
We’d take our time and live our lives together day by day
We’ll make a wish and send it on a prayer
We know our dreams can all come true with love that we can share

With you I never wonder – will you be there for me
With you I never wonder – you’re the right one for me

I finally found the love of a lifetime
A love to last my whole life through
I finally found the love of a lifetime
Forever in my heart, I finally found the love of a lifetime

With every kiss our love is like brand-new
And every star up in the sky was made for me and you
Still we both know that the road is long
(But) we know that we will be together because our love is strong

I finally found the love of a lifetime
A love to last my whole life through
I finally found the love of a lifetime
Forever in my heart, I finally found the love of a lifetime

(It was my uncle’s wedding song and I fell in love with it at age 8… so later, I used it at my own wedding. The lyrics are timeless but it has a great 80’s rock love ballad guitar solo… during our wedding dance my husband did a spin and dip at that part. Nerdy, but it would have to be included in the video montage of the moments in my life.) 🙂

  2. This one was very hard for me to come up with an answer. My romantic montage wouldn’t be very long. My husband is not romantic and I never had a boyfriend in high school or college. That said, my husband and I do share a lot of laughs and we often joke about our how certain things we do are endearing. So I am going to pick the old Gershwin song “They Can’t Take That Away From Me.” Which by the way my husband sang to me last year when he was the Frank Sinatra impersonator at our Women’s Ministries dinner last year. I guess that was a little romantic, if not embarassing.

      1. Unfortunately, my husband loves the spotlight and I get embarrassed way to easily. He sang about 6 songs that night and I tried to avoid looking at him as much as I could. But that particular song I was recording him with the video camera, because it’s one of my favorites, so at least I had the teeny, tiny camera to hide behind. Everyone else kept looking at me during his singing to gauge my reactions. I just kept my head down.

  3. “God Gave Me You” by Blake Shelton. The first time I heard it, I immediately thought of my husband! Then a couple of days later I found out he had it as my ringtone! Crazy coincidence.

      1. My husband loves that song but strangely enough, I do not. It’s a long story, so I won’t bother with the whys. For my husband not being a real romantic we sometimes have our roles reversed in the marriage. Not that I wear the pants, but that he likes love and affection and compliments and I have a hard time speaking that love language to him.

      2. I won’t say who wears the pants in my family….

But I will say this, my husband is also more affectionate than I am. It’s HARD for me to be that way. I can’t explain it, it just is, so I completely understand.

      3. Mine isn’t really romantic or very showy about love, but sometimes he surprises me.

  4. “I Love You for Sentimental Reasons,” Nate King Cole hands down the best way to describe my romance with my husband. Together for 18 1/2 years and counting.

  5. “Love You Like A Love Song,” by Selena Gomez. I don’t really have a romantic past, but when I listen to this it reminds me of a special someone.
