For anyone who’s interested, I’ve updated both my website and blog for easier navigation. I’ve also combined the majority of the FAQ posts I’ve done and even updated a few that were directed at me: favorite hero/heroine I’ve written, book cover, etc. If you’re a new follower–*waves madly at all the recent subscribers*–please feel free to look around and don’t hesitate to ask me a question if you have one that hasn’t yet been answered. I can guarantee you, if you’re curious about something, at least one other person is, too.
Also, I should make note, I do have a blogroll on the side with a list of other authors that I know. But “know” is about the extent of it for most of them. I have not read, nor am I endorsing all of their books. They are just links that say, “Hey, I exist.” I have read both Ruth Ann Nordin and Grace Elliot’s books and can recommend them. Ruth Ann Nordin writes westerns with extremely sweet heroes and sensible heroines, (some parts of her books are cramp-in-the-side hysterical). Grace, writes Regencies and is awesome when it comes to historical details and British English–I guess it helps that she lives in London!
If you are looking for book recommendations, look a little lower and under the section where I have “Book Reviewers” there are about nine links to reviewers or review sites. These are people I follow in some capacity (Twitter, blog subscription, Goodreads, etc) and I can vouch that they give fair and balanced reviews that don’t make you leave the page still not having a clue what the book is about.
Other than that, I have nothing new. I’m nearing the end of a book called, Covered Wagon Women. It’s a composite book of letters and diaries from who traveled west across the U.S. in the 1840s. Quite fascinating and will be very useful!
