Contest for Her Secondhand Groom well underway–an update

As most of you know I am running a contest to give away 10 advanced copies of Her Secondhand Groom, and so far, it’s going great.

For a complete list of rules and details, please see click here.

However, I have had a few other questions that I’ll answer here, then add to that original post:

1. What if I don’t have a Facebook account, can I still enter?

Sure. If you’re a blog subscriber, just comment here, and I’ll add your name to the list that I send to random.org. If you’re not a blog subscriber, you can still leave your answer here, but you’ll need to add your e-mail address to the comment. That said, I’ll also start posting the daily question here in addition to Facebook.

2. Are these paperbacks or eBooks?

eBooks only.

3. Do I have to do anything?

Yes, answer a ridiculous question! Oh, you meant if you win do you have to write a review to post somewhere–like on Amazon or B&N etc. The answer is no. These are my gift to you, no strings attached. Love it and want to leave a review? Great, please do so. But I’m not asking it of you, nor is it a condition to winning the book.

4. So what’s today’s question:

If I were to hand you a copy of the English dictionary and a bottle of white out, what would be the first word you’d white out from the English language? (And no sniffing the white out, please.)

  1. I notice that someone else has entered the word I thought of first and that is can’t but negative is another word I dislike looking at the world with a negative attitude … I think each day should be faced with a positive start and attitude.

    • I think each day should be faced with a positive start and attitude.

I totally agree! I don’t much care for the word negative, either. Critical is an interchangeable word, and I’m beginning not to like it, either.

Share your thoughts--I'd love to hear them!
