It’s June!

I haven’t yet finished the book I was to review today, so instead, I’ll post my monthly newsletter here to catch anyone up on something the either missed or might find important:

It’s finally June, which means, after this month, half of 2011 will be over! It also means the weather will be heating up soon–if it hasn’t started already where you live.

Nothing too exciting going on here, I am just finishing up the final book for my next series, then I’ll decide on book covers. Those seem to be the hardest thing for me. Hopefully I’ll be decided and have them ready for next month’s e-mail.

Believe it or not, I don’t have a lot to say for once, so here’s a quick rundown of what might be of interest:

  • I have recently revised and updated Intentions of the Earl. Nothing major—just fixed a few typos, modified a handful of sentences and changed Liberty slightly. Not a lot, the events are still the same, they have to be because most of them are mentioned in the second book, however, her reaction to the events changes to make it more obvious she’s attracted to Paul from the start. There is no reason to re-read the book or contact Amazon and/or B&N for an update unless you absolutely want to. However, if you’d like an updated version, just contact Customer Service.
  • My next series is still set to be out starting in September and will begin with Alex, who, next to Liberty, seems to be my most popular character. Who knew?! He is one of my personal favorites, however, and I always grin when someone tells me they think he stole the show during the middle of Liberty for Paul. It’s true, he did.
  • Once again, this month I’ll attempt to find interesting books to review on Wednesdays (with the exception of this week, I’ll do it Thursday this week). This month, in honor of Father’s Day, I’ll review books with a single father as the hero.

As always, feel free to e-mail me at rose@rosegordonromance.com with suggestions, questions or about anything else. Have a good month and be sure to stay cool and hydrated.
